My Veretekk Review

Within this veretekk review, you will find an in depth analysis on the features and benefits of this system. I have made every attempt to offer a balanced review, because I believe, while there are mostly positives of the system, there are a couple of areas, that need improvement. I have also provided a breakdown of the veretekk system and what you receive for its membership of $54.95 per month. For the record, I used the system for almost 3 years and then left just over 1 year ago. My decision to do so, I have gone in a different direction. The system is still worth checking out for you to make an informed decision.

Veretekk – What is it?

In essence, Veretekk is primarily designed as a lead generation system. As well, it has other tools in place, like SEO capabilities, a robust email system, social networking being integrated into V2 etc. In addition, they have online support, in the form of live webinars and recorded trainings. The trainings are designed to teach you about various aspects of internet marketing, including;

• Veretekk Systems/tools/resources
• How to register a domain
• How to set up a hosting account
• How to set up your DNS
• How to create Web Pages
• How to upload files to your website (Frontpage or FTP)
• Setting up your Autoresponders
• SEO – search engine optimization

Veretekk Review – Automated Marketing Systems – The Pros

Veretekk was developed by Tom Prendergast and Mike Darling. The system has been around for about 10 years. Its a membership site that offers 2 main packages, with the ability to upgrade. The silver system (free) and a premium gold system. There is also an upgraded package, called the platinum control panel (PCP). The silver system, is a free limited system, in which you can use some of the tools. Since most people that pay for a membership, in my veretekk review, I will focus, first on the gold system. Within this system, it will cost you $55/month, which includes a number of features and benefits, including the following:

• Lead Generation
• Massive Back linking System
• Auto Responders – Flexible
• 5 Person Conference Room included in the gold
• Live Trainings (Both Free and Paid Membership)
• Web Hosting (included in gold system)
• 40 – 50 SEO/Traffic Portals (sub-domain pages only)
• Blastomatic – Submits your ad to 12 million sites

From my personal experience and my veretekk review today, for $55 per month, you do receive a fair amount of resources and tools in a gold system.

Automated Marketing Systems – Veretekk has a number of features, that are automated systems, to help leverage your time more effectively. However, you still need to invest time and energy, to build your home business. For example, to gain notoriety in the search engines, you will need to send out quality content on a consistent basis.

The one other positive, they do offer live trainings on a daily basis. They also have a weekly conference call by Tom Prendergast. Its a chance for folks to get to know the owner of the company. There are currently a total of 4 involved directly in the company.

From my personal experience is using Veretekk, the main benefits for those interested in automated marketing systems, is the ability to generate premium leads. Those are real leads, that have opted in and are verified. If you call them, chances are good, the person will recognize your name from your email. This is the one positive, however, you must be willing to develop a relationship with those leads.

They also have a robust email system called Veremail. You can build your list and send out emails to follow up with your contacts. Its included in your gold system. I have personally checked out other email systems, and I would say, this is one of the better options in the market place. Especially, since there really is no limit to have many people you can send information to. I recently spoke to Tom, get a further understanding of the many upgrades going on behind the scenes. They are in the final stage of testing out the new Veremail, to make sure its 100%. For anyone looking for a quality autoresponder system, this is an ideal choice.

My Veretekk Review of the Platinum Control Panel (PCP)

The veretekk platinum control panel, was initially developed about 3 years ago. In fact, I had access to the initial beta system from a colleague and used it extensively to configure dozens of gold systems all together. Although, I don’t use it today, I have reviewed some recent videos and spoken to Tom, to learn about the updates. Here’s a quote, I found in their back office.

“The core purpose of the PCP is to build top ranking search engine sites. Veretekk’s goal from the very beginning was and is to deliver a system that produces leads for you effortlessly. We call them premium leads because they are not bought and sold. They are generated with your Veretekk system.”

Included in this PCP as they refer to it, include 10 free gold systems, in which you can configure individually and/or all together for increased seo power. The PCP system has many functions, too many to go into, within this article.

It will be priced at $1900 for a 1 time payment, and you get 10 gold systems. There will also be an affiliate program attached to the Platinum Control Panel, that pays out $1000. They have not launched it yet. However, are very close to doing so.

Is Veretekk Worth Your Time To Promote As An Affiliate Program?

Well, I have not really paid attention to their affiliate program in the past. However, I had an opportunity to review a video and talk with Tom about his affiliate program. I came to the realization, there is more to Veretekk than tools. You can earn some good money, promoting Veretekk.

Veretekk offers a stable affiliate program. Its a unilevel, that is paid on three levels.

Level 1-$10.00
Level 2-$5.00
Level 3-$15.00

They do have other income streams available as well. Here is the list.

• Blastomatic
• Free FFAs
• Leadsomatic
• Vereconference

Whether you buy a gold or plat system, they do offer a fair and balanced compensation plan in my opinion. If you want to promote it and make some money as an affiliate, I know Tom always pays on time. He is very diligent about doing that.

Veretekk Review of V2

I understand, that Tom and Mike have been working on their new system called V2 version that will integrate social media and other various functions when they launch their system. This is actually a positive in my opinion, since social signals are very important ranking factors.

Overall, when you first get involved, there is a learning curve involved. If you are brand new, you will need to invest your time, to learn all the various elements of the different systems. However, this is just part of learning about marketing online and it just takes time. There simply are no quick fixes for internet marketing and understanding all the various aspects. I’ve spent 5 plus years learning, and continue to do so today.

Veretekk Review – Continued

In my veretekk review, I think its important to balance any review, with areas that I would like to see improved upon.

Example 1

If you want to configure all your traffic and SEO portals as they call them, it would take you about 30 to 45 minutes with a single gold system. You end up linking portal 1 to portal 2 and portal 2 to portal 3 etc. The whole concept is to create a daisy chain of 42 portals all linked together.

If you upgrade and buy a Plat system, you can configure your portals in a matter of minutes. In fact, I know you can configure and daisy chain multiple gold systems all together. I have a problem with this area because, why can’t someone easily configure their gold system? This would be one downside to having just a gold system. I am hopeful that, Tom and Mike will upgrade this part, so that, it only takes a few minutes instead of 30 plus minutes.

Example 2

I worked in a team with Tom a few years back. That was the time, when he came up with the idea for the Veretekk Platinum control Panel. We had 40 to 50 gold systems all configured in a daisy chain. Did we end up ranking for our competitive terms? Unfortunately we did not. I and many others were hoping we would, so I ‘m not sure why.

I asked Tom about this recently and had a good conversation. Sometimes things just don’t work out, because we don’t understand everything Google does. As Tom alluded to during our conversation, with the upgrades going on, like a complete transition to new servers, and the launch of V2, things should dramatically improve. So far, people are getting improved results from those using the new system.

Veretekk SEO and Traffic Portals

With each gold system, you get a combination of 42 SEO/Traffic portals. Those are sub domains from the main root.

Problem #1 Traffic Portals- Currently, you really can’t optimize that sub domain page in any real meaningful way, except to add content to your RSS feeds. I do believe, if they expand upon this area, those portals can become more powerful. What I envision for those Traffic portals, you could change large sections of those page elements themselves. This is my opinion only.

So, what does all this mean to you, if using something like this?

My only concern is the number of links in each category. Based on my personal testing and what I know today, Google simply devalues these type of links. Do those links hurt you? No they don’t. I do believe, these portals could be vastly improved, if they went to a blogging type format for these portals, instead of just links.

Update 2011/07/25 – I had a follow up conversation with Tom, to talk about a few of the upcoming features for Veretekk. He indicated, that all the SEO portals will be changing over to a wordpress format. This is a positive step away from the current structure. Here is an example of an upgraded SEO portal. Summing up my Veretekk Review

My overall opinion, if you are looking for a system that has many functions and features, like lead generation, autoresponders, conference room, hosting etc., then for $54.95/month, this would be a good option. However, you must be willing to invest the time and be willing to do the work to have success in any business.
